Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Notary Public in Arizona

Eligibility Requirements

To become a notary public in Arizona, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Be a legal resident of Arizona.

  • Be able to read and write English.

  • Not have a conviction of a felony unless civil rights have been restored.

  • Not have had a notary commission revoked within the last four years.

Obtain a Surety Bond

Take the Oath of Office

  • Your commission is valid for four years.
